Community Schools Admissions Arrangements
As set out in the School Admissions Code, admission authorities must set (‘determine’) admission arrangements annually. Where changes are proposed to admission arrangements, the admission authority must first publicly consult on those arrangements. Consultation must be for a minimum of six weeks and must take place between 1st October and 31st January of the school year before those arrangements are to apply.

At Whitehall School, our school day begins at 8.30am. Our school day finishes at 3.00pm for Reception, Years 1 and 2 and 3.10pm for Years 3 and 4 and 3.15pm for Years 5 and 6.

Once you have been offered a place, please phone us on 01895 234071 and speak to our receptionist. An appointment can then be made for you to meet our Headteacher, Anneline Moloi.
Protocol for Children who are Left Late at School
The Education Welfare Service (EWS) has agreed a protocol (which is available on request from the school reception) for when children are left after school. Responsibility for the child still lies with the parent but school has a duty of care for any pupil who is not collected by their parent or nominated deputy after school has finished.
If any child has not been collected or been able to be delivered home by 5pm the school must contact the police.
